Reimagining Insurance from Reactive to Proactive

Aegon is a major international financial services group specializing in pensions, life insurance, and asset management.

The Challenge
Aegon approached Atlantic Studio to reimagine how their insurance products are positioned in a rapidly changing world. They wanted to shift the narrative — from being a reactive safety net to that provide a plan ahead with confidence
 — Peace of Mind.

Their early concept revolved around immersive experiences (including VR headsets) to evoke emotional resonance and new narrative. But the core challenge was bigger: How might we reframe the value of insurance—not just through technology, but through meaning?




The Approach
Brought on as Strategy & Vision Lead, my role was to shape the strategic foundation before any creative execution began. The first step was to translate a vague ambition into a focused, compelling north star vision—clarifying the "why", "for whom", and "what next" behind the project through workshop.

Working under tight timelines and a fragmented internal vision, my role was to bring immediate clarity, structure, and creative momentum — fast. Every idea generated was grounded in strategic reasoning, ensuring that creativity was purposeful, aligned, and ready to move the project forward.
